Project Description

This project involved removing an existing roof to a ground floor extension and building up to first floor level. This would accommodate an extended master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a further bedroom.

Our objective was to allow our client minimum disruption throughout the build, retaining the existing ground floor ceiling whilst working above. The first floor joists were upgraded along side the existing ceiling joists. The structural steel work was carried out in one day, along with all the knock throughs.

This also minimised disruption to the client and there family. The existing hallway window was removed and replaced with a door to the new bedroom. The existing master bedroom was extended by way of the steel beam, opening the room up to the extension. A wardrobe was removed and a shower room was added to the master bedroom.
